Elephant Hill 'Earth' Syrah 2024, Hawke's Bay

An exciting wine on the nose and palate with a boquuet of earth and stone, dark berries and spices. Aromas and flavours of boysenberry and baked raspberry, tobacco and stone, saline layers with clove and dried herb qualities. Very expressive with textures from polished tannins and backbone of acidity, a lovely fruit concentration and wodd smoke from barrel. Delicious, taut and ageing slowly with best drinking from early 2027 through 2033+.
