Elephant Hill 'Sea' Syrah 2024, Hawke's Bay

Youthful with a deep purple core, you, very bright and rather intense boquuet of purple fruits and baked raspberry, violets and spices, some peppercorn and bacon, dark plums and blackcurrant. Equally youthful and vibrant on the palate with a surge of red fruit flavours wrapped in tannins and acidity, tension and poise. There’s a velvet side to the tannins too then flavours of clove and vanilla pod, wood smoke and earth-smoke combinations. Delicious, taut and still developing. Lengthy and exciting. Best dirnking from 2028 through 2035+.
