Ayrburn 'Bonnet Rouge' Pinot Noir 2024, Central Otago

Very bright with a plump red-purple hue then ruby at the rim leading to a bouquet of freshness, ripeness and an attractive allure of crushed black currant berries, boysenberry and pomegranate juice. A light tickle of red beet adds depth and some intrigue. A dry wine on the palate, it’s all fruit and mineral with no oak yet lots of fruit tannins and youthful palate grip still. Fresh and lively, new and refreshing with a gentle ease into bottle development underway. Well made, lengthy and delicious. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2030.
