Babich Chardonnay 2026, Hawke's Bay

A wine framed by scents of peach and apple with a grapefruit and light floral quality. There’s a stony silty soil quality with a light dusting of barrel scents and a whisper of gun-flint. Dry with plenty of weight and gentle creaminess, acidity carries the core flavours along with a refreshing quality. Balanced and well made with best drinking from early 2027 through 2030.
