The Elder Chardonnay 2025, Martinborough

An elegant and sophisticated bouquet filled with scents of spice and toast, baked goods and ripe yellow stone fruits. A leesy cashew nut quality adds depth and power suggesting wine making style and the use of some new barrels. Full-bodied and dry with a lovely texture and length. Flavours of citrus peel and stone fruits, some baked apple and baked goods, fine tannins and medium+ acid line. Best drinking from late 2026 through 2033.
