‘Waikoa’ translate to happy water in te Reo Maori and this wine will make you smile and bring on a happiness. Made with Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc the bouquet is plush, floral and mineral then fruity with scents then flavours of crunchy green pear then apple, lemon and a whisper of makrut lime-leaf. There’s a lovely floral quality with a suggestion of jasmine and wild manuka petals. A wine as an aperitif or with fresh seafood. Delicious and fresh with best drinking from day of purchase through 2031+.
