Ayrburn Chardonnay 2025, Central Otago

A lovely bouquet with a nutty rich, stone fruits and baking spices bouquet. Led by scents of spice and mineral then fresh white and yellow stone fruits, baked apple and citrus pith. The wood scents are of a soft smoky quality the vanilla and a hint of cheese. Dry on the palate with a fuller-bodied mouthfeel, flavours of citrus then stone fruits and apple, plenty of spices and fine tannin textures and an acid line that layers in tautness and freshness. Well made and youthful with best drinking from mis to late 2027 through 2034+.
