Ayrburn 'Billy's' Chardonnay 2025, Central Otago

Aromas and flavours of fresh yellow peach and baking spices, there’s a fine savoury quality then aromas and flavours of red apple and citrus pith, some floral layers and a definitive seam of clay and stony mineral. Near full-bodied as the wine touches the palate, plenty of acidity and spice, gently warming alcohol and flavours of the orchard from stone to tree and a lick of roasted pineapple. Well made with plenty of length and style. Youthful still with best drinking from mid to late 2027 through 2033.
