Great colour and concentration with a distinctive and powerful bouquet of red peppercorn and blackcurrant, toasty wood spices and smoke, dark berries and roasted Doris plums with a new leather quality. Fantastic on the palate, very taut and youthful with a decent squeeze as the acidity and tannins take charge. Flavours of dark berries and spices, peppercorn and wood smoke, some French oak sweetness, layers of textures and a long finish. Best drinking from2029 through 2036+.
