Palliser Estate Syrah 2024, Martinborough

An excellent bouquet, one led by scents of clay and silty soil earthy ideas then a seam of ripe red fruits from raspberry and boysenberry to leesy, flinty youthful energy, then rose and spices from fruit and wood. A dry wine touches the palate. After several sips the synergies of fruit and spices, dried herb and soils begin the meld-together delivering a wine of texture and fruit, an abundance of finely polished tannins and backbone of acidity. Delicious, fresh, dry, lengthy and well made. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2033+.
