Golden hues with lots of polish with a persistent fine bead lead to a bouquet of dense autolysis and power. Aromas of flowers and white fleshed stone fruits, sweet citrus, a leesy biscuit and oatmeal quality then lemon and fruit spices. There’s a white rose or floral quality and apple. A dry full-bodied wine with a decent mousse and texture impact supported by the acid line and core fruit flavours. The driving force in the wine is the leesy qualities adding complexity and length. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2029.
