Carrick Cairnmuir 'Terraces EBM' Organic Chardonnay 2023, Bannockburn, Central Otago

A bouquet of power and intensity, scents of oak spices and roasted stone fruits, grapefruit peel and stone. Bold and equally expressive on the palate, full-bodied with a satin cream and raw silk textures. The acid line pulls everything together as well as sending the flavours and textures throughout the palate. Fine fruit and wood tannins, there’s a gentle flinty quality and vibrant finish. Brand new still, well made, and with best drinking from late 2026 through 2033.
