Taylors St Andrew's Cabernet Sauvignon 2020, Clare Valley

As with the previous tasting of this wine - it is just simply delicious, classic and totally the Taylors style.

There’s no mistaking the power and definitive frame of Cabernet with a dark and broody blackberry and earthy frame. Aromas and flavours of smoky earth and blackberry, some crushed plum and softly spoken minty-ness and a preserved violet. The oak layers on dark baking spice and chocolate, medium+ tannins with lots of polish, but not too much and acidity pulls the wines attribute together. A delicious wine with an excellent mouthfeel and finish. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2033+.
