Taylors St Andrew's Shiraz 2021, Clare Valley

A totally delicious, precise and engaging wine. Classic and ready to drink.

My notes below are from the last time I tasted this wine - and - remain the same.

Another excellent example from the Taylors portfolio, aromas of violets and clay, dark berries with plum and licorice, fresh boysenberries and pink peppercorn spices. As the wine opens out on the palate the flavours become more intense and include flavours of smoked meats, lees and new wood with dark baking spices. An abundance if fine polished tannins, excellent acid line and length. Well made with a lengthy sweet fruited finish. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2034+.
