Misha's Vineyard 'The Starlet' Sauvignon Blanc 2025, Central Otago

From a single vineyard planted in 2005 at an elevation of 240 – 280m this wine’s bouquet and palate shows off the intensity of vine maturity and essence of a single vineyard expression. Aromas and flavours of lemon and grapefruit, tart cape gooseberries and wild peaches. Whisps of honeysuckle and plenty of fruit spice contrasted by a tiny tickle of sweetness touching the front palate then mid-palate fruit power. The backbone of acidity and power dive of this wine delivers a striking mouthfeel, distinctive minerality as well as an assurance this wine will cellar nicely for the next 3-8 years. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2029.
