Terrace Edge 'Chosen Barrels' Pinot Noir 2020, Waipara Valley

Burgundy red hues and purple, very bright. Aromas and flavours of mineral earth, black currant and cherry. Layers of wood smoke and baking spices add complexity. A dry wine with a developing complexity as the tannins and acidity find harmony with the fruit intensity and overall power. Well made, lengthy and nicely complex. Best drinking from late 2026 through 2033+.
