Soljans Estate Tribute Merlot Malbec 2024, Hawke's Bay

A lovely wine, a core of dark berries and plum, plenty of earthy tones and spiced smoky wood. Dry, fuller-bodied with ripe tannins, lots of polish, plenty of acidity and persistent flavours. As the wine opens out in glass flavours of vanilla and chocolate begin to emerge. Well made with plenty of length, a lovely wine to enjoy alongside food. Best drinking from 2026 through 2032.
