Centralis Single Vineyard Pinot Noir 2024, Georgetown, Central Otago

An excellent bouquet and palate with core aromas of Central Otago’s landscape with savoury wild thyme and dried herb, then red fruit scents of plum and black cherry, some rose and red apple skin suggestions. Taut and dry with firm tannins and a backbone of acidity framing the core flavours tempered by wild flowers and a natural elegance that can only come from Pinot Noir. Decent length, a lighter weighted expression with best drinking from 2027 through 2034.
