Great dark hues of red and ruby with a purple rim lead to a bouquet of tension and poise, dark raspberry and blue fruits, some pink peppercorn and baking spice then a core of mineral with stony soils red clay soils and dried rose. Tasted over 3 days this wine flourishes and opens out on day three - that said the tension, poise and hold from the acidity and tannins mean you could keep this wine for 5 days open too. Dry, tense and textured, persistent and delicious, lengthy and complex. I love it! Best from 2029 through 2034+
