Milton Villa 'Paradise Regained' Reserve Chardonnay 2025, Hawkes Bay

A deveoping hue of pale gold and yellow with a very bright appearance leads to a bouquet of apricot and nectarine with a yellow apple then finer scents of lees and some oak with a white nut and clay-earth smoke quality. Dry with plenty of weight and gentle creaminess as the wien touches the palate. Apricots tuen into peaches and yelloe apple evolve into baked versions of the same. There’s a definitove leesy quality and vanilla-cream quality to the oak layers. Fine fruit and wood tannins, meidum+ acid line and length. Well made with best dirnking from day of purchase through 2030.
