Varietal, complex, inviting and fruity with a bouquet of black currant and pink peppercorn, layers of fruit and wood spices with a gentle smoky wood layer judiciously placed. Dry with medium+ weight, lots of intensity from the acid line and firm yet polished tannins. Fruit flavours and spice ideas are persistent, there’ a dark rose and hot stone earth baseline adding breadth and complexity. Well made with plenty of focus and length on the finish. Best drinking from 2028 through 2036.
