I have many favourite Pinots Noir from around NZ and beyond, this wine and style has always been on my list. A wine of savoury elegance and power, velvet tannins and a powerful-sweet acid line that will collectively age this wine well along with a concentration of fruit and voices that speak to site and the earthy layers that release over time. A mix of dark berries and plums, dried herb and sage, rosemary and hay. Delicious, lengthy and well made with best drinking from 2032 through 2042+.
