Mount Edward 'Pisa Terrace' Pinot Noir 2024, Central Otago

Fantastic bouquet, a sense of site with a wild rugged and wind swept suggestion, wild flowers then berry fruit scents, raspberries and cherry flesh. A dry wine touches the palate with an abundance of polished tannins, coarse-silk in texture framing the flavours of red berries and plum, cherry and wild dried herb. As the wine opens out in glass the flavours become louder with the sense of site and ruggedness of landscape coming into focus. Length and rather delicious with best drinking from 2029 through 2039.
