The standard bearer for the Mount Edward range of Pinot Noir this wine has a great bouquet and palate with attention to detail, complexity and length. Aromas and flavours of cherries, red and black, raspberry and red apple skin, then rose and wild flowers. The signature of Central Otago of a deep-seated wild-dried herb and savoury complexity is ever-present. Firm yet poised, polished and gently chalky. Well made with plenty of style and length, best drinking from 2028 through 2034+.
