Cirro 'Halo' Pinot Noir 2024, Marlborough

Wood smoke and baking spices, dark berries and plum, sage and savoury dried herbs, wood smoke and marl-soils. Dry with lots of textures from tannins and acidity, some grip as well with a youthful power and intensity throughout the palate. Fruits flavours repeat with boysenberry, dark cherry and Doris plums. Oak and barrel flavours add complexity and style, the phenolics need time to round-out. A wine that needs further time in cellar to settle and integrate more. Best from 2029 through 2033+.
