Palliser Estate Riesling 2025, Martinborough

A lovely example, a dry style with a backbone of acidity, salivating and lush, taut and new. Flavours of fresh green pear and apple, white blossoms and a fine silty mineral quality. As the wine opens out in glass the intensity of fruit increases as does the blossom into rose qualities. Honeysuckle and white spice, a fine leesy seam and lengthy persistent finish. Well made with best drinking from 2028 through 2034.
