Deep red core with garnet hues and bright red rime lead to a bouquet of cinnamon and vanilla spiced plums, a layer of wood smoke and stony clay earth then blackberry, dried herb and tobacco leaf. A dry wine with a firm texture, fine grained tannins and medium+ acid line. Dark berries and plum, some smoke and earth flavours, mushroom and stone. Well made, easy oak and medium+ length. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2032.
