An excellent bouquet of ripeness and varietal scents of dark cherry and boysenberry, layers of earth and wood smoke, baking spices and saline mineral qualities. A floral layer and light savoury quality delivers finesse and charm. On the palate a dry wine with medium+ intensity of red berry fruits and baking spices laced with ideas of site and and time with a youthful drive and flavours of tilled soils and stone. An abundance of fine through coarse-silk tannins accentuated by acidity and layers of wood. Well made with best drinking from day of purchase through 2032.
