Nevis Bluff Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2024, Central Otago

A complete wine on the nose with complex scents of peaches and red apple, vanilla and raw cashew nut, some gentle wood smoke and intensity of lees and natural earthy qualities. Dry and nicely weighty on the palate with flavours of grapefruit and peach, stone and earth with apple, lees and citrus pith then some wood and spice tones. Lengthy balanced and well made, quite youthful still and would benefit from cellar time. Best drinking from late 2026 through 2033.
