Linden Estate Pinot Gris 2025, Hawke's Bay

A richly textured bouquet and palate, a wine framed by its weight and power, reminds me of an Alsace style with a creaminess to the mouthfeel and core fruit flavours of baked apples and white fleshed stone fruits. The warming alcohol and polished leesy mouthfeel deliver a wine of balance and texture, spice and fermenting flowers. Fruit flavours are persistent with a decent acid line carrying the throughout the palate. Generous in style with best drinking from day of purchase through 2029.
