Black Cottage Merlot 2024, Hawke's Bay

Made with 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, a bouquet and palate of juicy and fleshy Black Doris plum, blackberry and tart red berries, all accentuated by the acid line and textures from tannins - both fruit and wood. Dry with plenty of weight and lots of mouthfeel, the core red fruit flavours are persistent and quite delicious. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2030.
