Mahi 'Alchemy' Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2024, Marlborough

Tasted over 2 days this wine is excellent. Aromas and flavours of complexity and depth, ripe fruits and a stony mineral quality. On the palate flavours of lees and peach, stone and apple, grapefruit and baking spices. As the wine opens out on the palate the flavours of some melon begin to emerge with spikes of spice and lees layering texture, depth and complexity. So very easy to take another sip and enjoy the mouthfeel and length. Best drinking from late 2026, even early 2027 through 2033+.
