A bold and enticing bouquet, a mix of the classic and individual with scents of stone fruits and baked apple, there’s layers of oak and lees building complexity in the bouquet and framing the wine very well. On the palate a full-bodied wine with a richly textured mouthfeel led by acidity, fruit then wood tannins and a leesy quality bringing the acid and oak together. Flavours of apples and pears, stone fruit and grapefruit are at the core of fruit flavours. An excellent weight and intensity, length and style. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2030+.
