Peregrine Sauvignon Blanc 2026, Central Otago

An excellent bouquet of Central Otago, cool climate, mineral and varietal messages of cape gooseberry and lemon, red apple and white pineapple with a whisper of peach. Some herbaceous messages and floral moments add complexity to the style. A dry wine on the palate, taut and youthful with a backbone of acidity embracing the palate first. When this sensation fades it leaves behind flavours of citrus and soil, dried herbs and cape gooseberry flesh. VG length and finish with best drinking from 2027 through 2033.
