Peregrine Chardonnay 2025, Central Otago

A lovely example with a bouquet of white flowers, soil and white fleshed stone fruits framed by citrus, and a leesy wood spice mix. Dry, fuller-bodied mouthfeel with power in the texture and mouthfeel, flavours of clay and stone, citrus then flowers, fresh orchard fruits and oak. The tannins and acid line frame the core flavours with a fine lees and mineral finish. Well made and ready to drink from late 2027 through 2035.
