Little Forager Riesling 2026, North Canterbury

A seductive bouquet of wild white flowers and fruit spice, there’s a fine savoury earth quality that is very appealing then fresh makrut lime and leave, honeysuckle apple and white apricot. As the wine touches the palate a light tickle of sweetness is brief as the acidity arrives quickly to offer contrast and carry the flavours of citrus and mineral, mandarin, honeysuckle, saline ideas and apple. Delicious, fresh and lengthy, an easy choice for an aperitif over late spring and summer ahead. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2035.
