Little Forager Pinot Noir 2025, North Canterbury

If you are looking for a Pinot Noir with a lower oak impact, polished tannins and lots of red berry fruit flavours then look no further. This is a complete wine ready to drink and makes a great stepping stone expression before the big full-bodied reds are served. You might even stay with this wine throughout dinner (or lunch). Flavours of fresh red cherry flesh, boysenberry and savoury dried herb qualities. A dry wine touches the palate with an abundance of fine tannins, plenty of polish, the acid line is pristine carrying the flavours of red berries, a whisper of oak spices and savoury earth mineral ideas. A wine of texture, lengthy and well made a first pour on warm summer days. Best from day of purchase through 2034.
