Maxim Wines Single Vineyard Chenin Blanc 2023, Hawke's Bay

Ripe, fruity and varietal bouquet led by aromas and flavours of fresh and baked yellow apples, there’s quince and white flowers, some mineral earth qualities and fine lees complexity. Crisp, tense and dry on the palate with core pomaceous fruit and a touch of citrus pith leading. Acidity is distinctive and quite high framing the fruits and showcasing a youthful expression. Best drinking from 2026 through 2032.
