Domaine Thomson Explorer Reserve Pinot Noir 2020, Central Otago

A lovely bouquet and palate with a ripe pure fruited and developing frame. Flavours of savoury red plums and cherry, there’s a mix of barrel spice and gently [positive] reduction and spice. Fine polished tannins, medium+ acid line and a developing complex finish. Well made and immediately enjoyable with best drinking from late 2025 through 2030.
