Delicious, bright, fresh, weighty and intense bouquet of Doris plums then black cherry, there’s layers of wood spice and smoke then a clay stony earth quality. Firm and dry, taut with tannins and acidity then contrasting core of fruits and barrel spice qualities. As the wine opens out over the few hours the complexity remains as do the flavours and textures. A well made wine with best drinking from 2027 through 2031+.
