Dark ruby and red core with pink hues lead to a bouquet of black currant and savory red berries, earth and barrel, some wood smoke and complex synergies. Enticing and elegant. On the palate - dry, textured with fine tannins and decent acid line framing core fruit flavours of aged strawberry, plum and flavours of earth and place. A wine that is still developing yet also ready to drink, it is complex and lengthy driven by texture, varietal fruit themes and judicious measure of oak.
