Rua Pinot Noir 2024, Central Otago

A lovely example with a core of ripe dark skinned berries - cherry then boysenberry, some dark plums and black currant-like flavours. Dry with plenty of tannin and acidity for texture and length as well as capturing and holding tight the fruit core. Moderate level of oak with baking spice layers and a lick of wood smoke. A well made wine ready for drinking from late 2026 through 2030.
