The Hunting Lodge Syrah 2022, Hawke's Bay

Lots of sweet red berry fruit aromas with blackberry and black currant then plum. A violet seam adds depth and complexity. A dry wine on the palate with flavours of new leather and red berries, some peppercorn spices and a touch of meatiness. Fine tannins, plenty of acidity adding a firmness and freshness. Well made with best drinking from 2026 through 2029.
