Brockenchack Great Scott Single Vineyard Sparkling Shiraz NV, Eden Valley, Barossa

Bright purple with a old fizz as the wine is poured into glass. Aromas of black currant and bitter chocolate then clove and cinnamon spices, dark plums and black grapes. Fizzy crisp and dry on the palate, flavours mirror the bouquet with a frame of spice and chocolate, acidity and dark berry fruit flavours. There’s a nice tension and poise, phenolics are nicely in check and the wine finishes with a salivating freshness. Great along side red beet and chocolate cake with lashings of cream. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2029.
