Akitu A2 Pinot Noir 2022, Wanaka, Central Otago

A lovely expression of Pinot with an engaging bouquet of fresh red apple and peach then raspberry and a touch of boysenberry. There’s a fine mineral dried herb quality adding depth and intrigue. Dry with some youthful tautness still then flavours of red berries and earthy mineral ideas framed by tannins and an equal level of acidity. A lighter weighted wine with plenty of energy and some poise. Well made with best drinking from day of purchase through 2030.
