Intense, exotic, pure, ripe, varietal and classic. Fantastic bouquet with aromas of myriad white fleshed orchard fruits, moments of tropical lychee nut then lavender and spice. Equally intense on the palate with a youthful tension and poise, a transition through the palate starting with a core of white fleshed fruit flavours wrapped in spice then a back palate squeeze of phenolics stretching the flavours and power through to a very lengthy finish. Satin texture, long and smooth. There is a some residual sweetness to counterbalance the alcohol - neither of which are particularly noticeable. A totally delicious wine and an exemplar for the producers of this variety. best drinking from purchase and through 2026+.
