Champagne Roger Manceaux Premier Cru, Brut Nature NV, France

Quite a distinctive bouquet with aromas centering on richness and breadth with roasted stone fruits and strawberry with a deep seated autolysis driving the core. Dry, weighty, rich and creamy texture with a core of fruit then autolysis. The mousse has weight and boldness with a fine bubbles and satin texture. A very polished example with a lengthy dry finish. I found this wine well suited to densely texture white fish and coped well with a herb crust and c=green vegetables. Overall a very nice wine with best drinking from 2021 through 2027+.
