A full range of fruit and toasty wood aromas greet the nose with aromas of plums and clove, cocoa and crushed stones, black tea and dark berries. On the palate - flavours of the same with an abundance of wood tannins then fruit tannins and flavours of dark berries and plums, some dried plum and date moments, vanilla and clove then cocoa and toasty wood again. A lovely wine - happy to stay in your cellar or be enjoyed today with food - particularly aged gouda or vintage cheddar. Best from 2021 through 2025+.
