Durvillea by Astrolabe Chardonnay 2018 Marlborough

Very familiar aromas and a ‘classic’ expression of Chardonnay with vanilla spice and toasty wood, baked yellow stone fruits and butter, some apple and stony mineral moments. Dry and spicy on the palate with vanilla and toasty wood flavours showing first followed by stone fruit and citrus. Moderate acidity and just enough oak flavour adding a nice length and smooth creamy finish. Drink now and through 2021.
