Impressive aromas of ripe fruit and sweet oak, raspberry, plum and dark cherry then mild and very clearly spoken voices of brown spices, mushroom and soil. Dry, vibrant and varietal with a core of fruit and brown spices then an abundant measure of fine tannins with a textures of dense silk & chalk. Medium+ acidity, medium weight and richness with a lengthy, tasty finish. Well made with great length. A wine and expression from Cloudy Bay to keep an eye on over the coming years. Drink this vintage now and through 2025+.
